2025年も早いもので、まもなく4月になろうとしています。
そこで、今回は世界各地の春の記念日を紹介していきます！
St. Patrick’s Day
３月１７日は、聖パトリックの祝日で、アイルランドにキリスト教を広めた聖人聖パトリックの命日です。
聖パトリックの日は緑色を祝う日ですが、その理由は、アイルランドの緑豊かな風景や、聖パトリックがシャムロック（三つ葉のクローバー）を用いて三位一体を説いたことに由来しています。
アイルランドだけではなく、アメリカやカナダ、オーストラリアなど、いろいろな国でお祝いされます。
アメリカのシカゴでは毎年、シカゴ川を緑色に染めて聖パトリックの日を祝います。

人々に地球環境を守る行動を促すことを目的としています。１９７０年にアメリカで始まり、現在では１９０以上の国々で１０億人以上が参加する世界的な運動になっています。
アースデーでは、以下のような重要な環境問題に焦点を当てています。
Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22 to raise awareness about environmental protection and encourage people to take action to protect the planet. It was first established in 1970 in the United States and has since grown into a global movement, with over 1 billion people in more than 190 countries participating every year.
